When we went up north for Christmas, we took Kate to get her pictures taken. She was such a good girl. Here they are.....

I finally got it.....

So Kate has been cooing and talking to us a lot lately. It is so much fun. But of course everytime I run to grab the video camera, she stops. I have tried about twenty times, but I keep missing it. I finally got it this morning. I was in the other room and I heard her talking to Paul, so I snuck in with the camera and she kept talking for a minute. I am so excited!

So Kate has been smiling for a few weeks, but I have not been able to get a good picture of it yet. Everytime I get the camera, she stops. The is our best shot so far. On mornings when Paul works, I call him when Kate wakes up. I put him on speaker phone and has soon as she hears his voice, she gets so excited and starts smiling. She loves her dad. Kate just wanted to tell grandma Jeannie thanks for the cute new outfit.

I was trying to get a cute picture of her in the I Love Daddy outfit to post on the blog for Paul while he was at work. It didn't turn out too well.

We went out a couple of weeks ago and attempted to get some family pictures taken. It got really cold, so Kate's wasn't the happiest but she finally fell asleep. This was our best family shot.And this was my favorite one of Kate.

Our Christmas Vacation.....

It has been such a crazy last couple of weeks. We went up north for 10 days for Christmas and we are finally getting things put back together. Our trip got off to a rocky start. We got stuck in a horrible snow storm on our way up and had to spend the night in Fillmore. Other than that, we had a wonderful Christmas and had so much fun being with family. It was so much fun to have our first Christmas with little Kate. Here are a few pics.....

Aunt Amanda with Kate in her new Christmas dress.We had Kate's blessing on Sunday at my parent's house. She wore my blessing dress. It doesn't look too bad for being 26 years old, does it? She was such an angel and didn't cry at all during her blessing. We had all of our family there, it was a very special day.
